Shorewood MTB

The Hounds got a little sneak peek at winter for our race weekend at Nordic Mountain Ski Resort in Mount Morris. Near-freezing overnight temperatures gave way to a sunny, calm and chilly autumn race day. The Nordic Mountain course proved to be the most technically challenging so far, with many rock and root-filled climbs scattered about the rolling terrain.

All of our racers rose to the new challenges and left everything out on the course. The team finished in 7th place for this race, but held onto our 4th place overall standing for the season. The season's finish line is in sight and you can really see our growth and confidence tackling these tougher courses.
